AACE SUMMER CONFERENCE

Recap

I want to thank everyone who attended the Summer Conference at the Red Apple Inn in Heber Springs.   What a beautiful location for our conference!   We wanted a location to relax a bit after the recruiting season.  It certainly fulfilled that need.  We had almost 50 persons attend this summer.  That was a nice turnout for our first summer conference.  Based on the feedback, the AACE board has decided to make the summer conference an annual event.

 I was very impressed with our speakers as well.  Have you had the opportunity to try performance based interviewing?  Is your brand recognizable? Have you thought about the legalities of searching the on-line resume databases?   This information was just a portion of the information provided by our keynote speakers, Bryan Johanson (Adler Group), Kesha Walker (Enterprise Rent-A-Car), and Donna Galchus (Cross, Gunter, Witherspoon & Galchus, P.C.)

 I also really enjoyed the opportunity to get to know some of you at the poolside reception and brunch. 

 The AACE board is researching some exciting events coming up this year.  We are always looking for helpful speakers and/or topics so feel free to let us know if you have any ideas.
