Jim Durbin
Director of Corporate Communications, Durbin Media Group, St. Louis

   Jim joined the recruiting world in 1999 at the peak of the internet bubble in Los Angeles, and has since made the transition from  staffing account manager to recruiting blogger to blogging consultant.  
  Mr. Durbin is interested in using the social networking format to improve communication between employers and job-seekers.   He is the primary author for http://www.StlRecruiting.com, and a contributing author for the http://www.Recruiting.com group blog.   His interests are social networking, consumer generated media, recruiting, online communities and the science of social networks.  Mr. Durbin is a 1995 graduate of Washington and Lee University. Dr. Jeffery Collins
Director of Center for Business and Economic Research, Sam M. Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas - Fayetteville
    
Jeffery Collins is the Director of the Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.  His research interests include local economic development, the impact of higher education on state economies, and the financing and structure of healthcare.  In providing applied economic research as part of the outreach mission of the Walton College, Collins has directed studies for a variety of clients including: Avest Bank Group, the Arkansas Department of Economic Development, and the Tobacco Free Coalition of Washington and Benton Counties.  Recently, Collins completed a study in conjunction with the Milken Institute to provide a strategy for creating high-wage, high-skill employment in the state of Arkansas.  Collins earned a B.S. in economics from Colorado State University and a doctorate from the University of Tennessee in economics.

Micki Voekel
Instructor with the Center for Business and Professional Development, University of Arkansas- Fort Smith

Micki teaches communication, personal effectiveness and computer applications skills through the Center for Business and Professional Development at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. She is a Fort Smith native who has a B.S. in speech and theatre from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and an M.Ed in Adult Education from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.  She is a Microsoft Office Specialist Master in Microsoft Office 97, 2000, XP and 2003 and is a Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor.  She is a certified facilitator for "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" Signature Program developed by the Franklin Covey organization.
Micki is an actress, singer and director.  She has more than 30 years of experience working with professional and community theatre and music groups.  She and her husband Bob currently live in Van Buren, Arkansas.
