The mission of the association is to provide resources for the career planning and employment of Arkansas' college educated workforce.  It also provides professional development opportunities, and promotes high ethical standards for recruiting, through association membership.

Nola Holt Royster Distinguished Service Award

 

Named in honor of the late Dr. Nola Holt Royster, former Director of the University of Arkansas Career Development Center, this award is the highest honor an AACE member can receive within the association.

 

The recipients are recognized for having made significant contributions to the association and the field of career services or college recruiting, and for having had at least five years of service in AACE, including one year on the board of directors.

 

The award was created in 2001 after the sudden death of Dr. Royster, who dedicated her time and expertise to the Arkansas Association of Colleges and Employers, as well as numerous professional and civic organizations.
